It's All About John Day

What would you do if everywhere you looked you saw your name in print?

Grin and bear revel in it was John's response.  Here's the proof.

The town of John Day, OR is located in central Oregon.  The ACTUAL namesake was apparently very memorable...but no one knows exactly why everything was named after him.  After all, he was stripped naked and left to freeze by the river.  Not exactly the most compelling of reasons to be memorialized for all time.  ;-)
