While we're on the road, we've done a pretty good job of letting the trip itself be the priority. That said, so-called 'reality' still weighs in...today it took the form of getting the truck serviced. We found a great place in the industrial district of Portland. It was one of these long-standing businesses and it had a great feel. By the time we walked around the block, we saw the truck already being serviced.
We stopped to chat with the attendant and discovered common ground. He and his wife had only known each other 3 months before they got married, and traveled the Oregon coast in a little travel trailer for their honeymoon. Super nice guy.
