To Boldly Go....Or Not

There are some places you just can't go when you're dragging a trailer behind you. We found one of those places in Seaside Florida yesterday.



Seaside is a planned community - one of the best, if not the best, we've ever seen. High density, undisturbed native vegetation, and many roads unpaved (so no need for a storm water system and all the bad things associated with it).

The streets are narrow and very pedestrian oriented, so we should have known we were destined for trouble driving our big ass Chevy with a 23 foot trailer behind.

Fortunately, there was a security official there to stop other traffic so we could back out the way we drove in. And backing up in a straight line with a trailer behind is damn difficult (at least for me it is).
